Thanks for reaching out to me regarding a personalized training routine and program! I believe, I can help you get more out of your skating and ultimately become a faster inliner.

My coaching is for everybody looking to get more fun and more out of the hours and energy they put into their training. No matter if you are skating to get in shape, looking to beat your best marathon time, searching for speed or wishing to make it to Worlds or The Olympics. It’s INDIVIDUAL coaching for individual needs and goals.

I currently help out a handfull of skaters, with their training. through the previous 3 years, I have tried out different ways to do online/distance coaching, and figured out the best possible way, which I will elaborate a bit in this text. (but we would without doubt be able to adapt it, so it would be the best solution in your specific case):

Questions
I will ask you a bunch of questions, so we can determine your current level, strenghts, weaknesses and goals. Process goals as well as actual results. That way, I have the best standpoint to create a program that will target what you need to work on, but also when you should have your best shape and peak performances.

Limits in terms of training disponibility
We will go through your limits in terms of training disponibility. That way the program will be realistic. If you have 10 kids and two jobs… We would have to figure out something very time efficient. Once this is set, I will need a week to construct your program. The program will be an online google drive folder, where we can both edit.¬†

In the Drive document you’ll find different tabs:

Calendar
This is the main tab, in which you have your weekly schedules. These tabs cover a full month of training and will also be named accordingly to the month. Each workout is colorcoded to its intensity, corresponding to the table on the right. Every workout will be specifically described in “notes” (appears when you right-click in the workout box).

The majority of the workout boxes will have links in the notes. Some may refer to the other tabs, where the workout routine will be explained, others will have a link to special youtube videos, where I will guide/show you how to do the exercises. An example could be. “dryland workout – DYN.1 – see the tab “Dryland Fall”. As you click on the tab “Dryland fall”, the different workout plans will be described in details.¬†

Content of the program
As for the actual content of the program, I would usually make it a combination of inline skating, bike rides, dryland/offskate, weight lifting and possibly some jogs, slideboard and turncable sessions. BUT, there is many ways to improve, if you wish, most sports/activities can be implemented such as swimming, hiking, etc. 

The plan would include periodisation and taper-fases, so I recommend it to be a full-season commitment. However, I also this as a 3-months at a time deal. That way we can make sure it works out for you, before we go further. A typical season build-up would be 3-4 months of basic shape and strenght, 3 months of anaerobic adaptations and more skating specific workout. Final 2 months will be competition preparation with event specific workouts including a taper period. In competition season, the program will be maintainance and speedwork. 

I hope to be able to use my 20 years of skating experience in several countries with guidance of multiple World level coaches and skaters, to help you go faster.

Single month try-out = 100$
3-months complete individual plan = 200US$
Full season complete individual plan = 600US$
