Me and My Goals
My mission is to inspire and prove to everybody that no matter who you are, and no matter where you come from, you can succeed, if you truly believe in it, and keep on fighting until you make it!
As a kid, I was always the shortest and smallest in my class. Like most european boys, I was entered in the local soccer club, but never had any desire or talent with balls! However, in skating it didn’t take height or size to go fast, and when my mom read about a local inline club in the newspapers, she talked me into giving it a shot. In short time, I developed a passion for skating! I trained more than anybody else, and won my first national junior title in 2005. As I started racing internationally, I realised that in order to become competitive at a World class level, I would need the best coaching.
As soon as I graduated from main school at the age of 15, I moved to Toulouse, France to train with the 8-time World Champion, Pascal Briand. I ended up spending 4 years in France, going to high school as I was skating there. After winning a medal at the junior European Championships, I was invited to take part in a national ice skating training camp, and quickly discovered that I was meant to be an ice skater! After less than 40 training sessions on ice, I medalled at the U20 World Cup final, and was a single second short of qualifying for the 2014 Olympics! In the next 4 years, I travelled to a bunch of countries, and trained with many different teams, to find the very best surroundings to become a faster skater.
After reaching my goal of becoming Denmark’s best ever individual winter Olympian and ranking 5th at the 2018 Pyeongchang winter games, I have dedicated my life to do whatever is in my power, to win Denmark’s first individual Winter Olympics medal!
Sadly, we lack longtrack iceskating facilities in Denmark, as well as any culture or history for the sport. Therefore, I grabbed a once in a lifetime opportunity to join the American national team in their training for the 2022 games. Training, racing and developping on a daily basis, on the World’s fastest ice, in Salt Lake City, Utah! My new “homerink” will be hosting the World championships and the Olympic qualification tournaments, so I could not be in a better position.
It has always been in my nature to go all-in. Since I started inline-skating at the age of 2, I have become conscious of what it takes to become an Olympic Champion, EVERYTHING. I am prepared to handle the massive training volume, a life with extreme priorities and huge sacrifices, but I NEED HELP to make it financially! Ambitions and talent, sadly does not pay flight tickets or the thousands of daily calories a 30-hour training week requires.
That’s why I hope to find partners and sponsors, who wants to become part of this dream, plan, journey and finally the succes! MAYBE THAT’S YOU? – If you wanna know more about how I can help your company with promotion and branding, check out the files in my sponsorship section!
